Adventures in Media
This page tells you something about my interests and activities in the field of interactive media and radio. I don't work in these fields, but use them to play around and test out new ideas. Nothing beats having people actually put your ideas to use.

Interactive Media

Anthyra was founded on September 28th, 2004 and has as ambitious goal to acquire underperforming media, convert them and make use of synnergies among them; turning them into more popular media outlets. At this stage it is merely a playground and it is not something I actively work on.

MyImageBuddy is one of the most popular Image hosting sites on the net. It was acquired by Anthyra on September 14th, 2005 with a mere 60 uploads in its five month existence. As of January 2006, the site was actively promoted. At this stage, approximately 500 images are uploaded daily. The site was initially hosted in the US Daemon facilities, but was moved to Frankfurt on April 8th 2006 to provide better connectivity for South-East Asia, where its primary user base is located.

TheDiary is a blog hosting site. Create a blog for free, including support for moblogging and podcasting. It was acquired by Anthyra on September 9th, 2005. Under its previous ownership it aimed at a 12-18 demographic, [see its old branding], which was changed after its acquisition.
